Meghalaya Travels is run by Shayeed Hussain from an office in Jhalupara, Shillong. We are not a booking aggregator reselling someone else's trip — we drive these roads, we know which viewpoint is worth stopping at in the afternoon and which one is fogged in by ten, and we know the families who run the homestays we put you in.
That matters more in Meghalaya than in most places. The state has no usable public transport for tourists, mobile coverage disappears the moment you leave the main towns, and half the best sights are down roads that do not appear on any map application. A generic itinerary bought online will get you to the famous three waterfalls and miss everything else.
We handle tour packages, hotel and homestay bookings, and car rental with drivers — separately or together. If you only need a car, that is fine. If you want the whole trip planned, that is fine too.
