Seven Sister Falls, known locally as Nohsngithiang or the Mawsmai Falls, is a seven-segmented cascade that drops around 315 metres off the limestone cliffs near Mawsmai village. In full monsoon the seven streams merge into a broad white wall; in the drier months they separate into distinct silver ribbons, which is when the name makes sense.
The viewpoint faces west, so late afternoon is the golden hour here — the sun comes in low across the Bangladesh plains and lights the whole cliff face. On clear days you can see the flatlands of Bangladesh stretching to the horizon from the same terrace.
It is a roadside stop rather than a trek, with a paved viewing deck, benches and tea stalls, which makes it a comfortable stop for families and older travellers. Go in the same run as Nokhalikha Falls and Mawsmai Cave — all three are within a few kilometres of each other.
